Founded in 2002, Energy Essences is a woman owned business located at the base of Mount Waialeale on the Island of Kauai. Known as the wettest spot on earth, Mount Waialeale and its tributory rivers are the home of an abundace of native plants and flowers that are unique to this lush, tropical environment. It is within this rainforest that our wildflowers are hand collected and combined in a unique process of distillation. Subtle yet transformative, these unique essences help balance the emotions and heal the soul. All of our plant matter is sustainbly hand harvested with loving respect for Hawaii and the unique and diverse environment. Special measures are taken to ensure the integrity of our native ecosystem. utilizing sustainable species such as wild eucalyptus so the natural Hawaiian flora can continue to flourish. All of our plants are handpicked with gratitude and a loving respect for the environment. We take special care in honoring this tradition of the Hawaiian culture. We remain conscious of, and grateful for, our connection with all that grows, and is intrinsic to the quality of our existence. ABOUT THE OWNER
Since 1997 Shanon Mason has been creating and experimenting with flower essences from deep within the Kauai rainforest. Spending days at a time in a jungle hammock and using pristine rock water derived from a lava filtered spring. What started as a hobby, soon evolved into a passion when Shanon was introduced to the art of distillation. After 3 years of experimentation and perfecting the technique of blending the two modalities, the results have been amazing. This new and cutting edge product is excellent for those who are already familiar with the use of flower remedies and a perfect introduction for the everyday person who has yet to experience the therapeutic benefit of vibrational remedies in an easy and comfortable way. Her highest hope is to introduce as many people as possible to this form of deep foundational healing. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
During her 3 year mentorship with Shakti Gawain Shanon has developed a high sense of awareness and connection to subtle vibrations that are most strongly perceived in the remote wilderness. Shanon was then introduced to Levon Ohai, 3rd generation local Hawaiian herbalist and instructor at the University of Hawaii. For so many years the Hawaiian traditional healing arts were nearly driven to the edge of extinction due to persecution and ignorance. What remained in hardback was heavily steeped in mystery as a way to protect and preserve the ancient traditions. Fortunately Mr. Ohai and his colleagues at UH saw the need to introduce the concepts taught to them by there families to anyone who was interested in order to further preserve and protect this ancient tradition. Shanon was in the original classes taught at the local high school on Kauai over ten years ago and has continued her education spending many hours in the field with Mr. Ohai and learning the la au’ tradition.

WHY OUR PRODUCTS ARE UNIQUE

Our Pure Hawaiian hydrosols are distinct because they utilize ALL of the plants qualities. We are able to reap more of the herbal benefits than essential oil alone. Both water-soluble and essential oil molecules are extracted through a low heat distillation process creating whole essences and wasting nothing in the process. After distillation our plant material is composted and returned back to the earth where it re-starts the cycle of abundance. We take great pride in offering products free of additives and only use natural preservatives so that nothing comes between you and the essences of the Kauai rain forest.

We at Energy Essences believe we should never forget our connection with all that grows. GENERAL USE AND APPLICATION Our aromatherapy products are gentle and safe. They can be used in the air and on the skin. To avoid contamination, the spray top should not be removed, avoid direct sunlight and temperatures exceeding 95 degree F. Refrigeration will extend the shelf life and vary the aroma and energetic quality of the product. Many people prefer chilled, especially in the summer months.

Ilove these blends!!. I would recommend them to anyone who’s in need of some balance and energy in their life. I use Energy essences for many things. I wake up each morning and sprits my personal blend in the air and on my face. I feel like I’ve been transported to the islands for a moment. The residual effect is grounding and balancing, just the way to start the day! The energy blends are a refreshing pick-me-up when I need a little boost mid-afternoon. My personal favorite energizer is Lemon/Cinnamon. A little sprits on my hands after a long day on my keyboard is a refreshing treat. I have used flower essences before but most of them are preserved in brandy, which seems to dilute their power.
